Overview
Embark on an 8-day spiritual journey starting from Ranchi to Shri Sammed Shikhar Ji, visiting key Jain pilgrimage sites including Shikharji, Kakandi, Champapur, Lachwad, Gunava Ji, Rajgir, Kundalpur, Nalanda, and Pawapuri. The itinerary features temple visits, mountain yatras, and cultural explorations, concluding with a drop-off in Patna. This yatra offers a blend of devotion, history, and scenic travel across prominent Jain destinations.
Tour Plan
Day 1: Ranchi to Shri Sammed Shikhar Ji (180 km, 4 hours)
Arrive at Ranchi airport or railway station. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to Shikharji. Check in at the Dharamsala and relax for the night.
Day 2: Shri Sammed Shikhar Ji – Rajuvalika – Shri Shikhar Ji (18 km, one way)
After breakfast, visit the Jain Museum. Then, proceed to Rajuvalika Jain Temple. Return to the Dharamsala for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Shri Shikhar Ji Pahad Yatra
Begin your day early with the Shri Shikharji Pahad Yatra. After the yatra, return for an overnight stay at the Dharamsala.
Day 4: Shikhar Ji – Kakandi – Champapur – Bhagalpur (270 km, 6–7 hours)
After breakfast, check out and depart for Kakandi. Visit the Kakandi Temple, then continue to Bhagalpur with a stop at Champapur Temple. Overnight stay in Bhagalpur.
Day 5: Bhagalpur – Lachwad Parvat – Gunava Ji – Rajgir (240 km, 6 hours)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to Lachwad for the Lachwad Pahad Yatra. Next, visit Gunava Ji Temple and proceed to Rajgir. Check in at the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 6: Rajgir Pahar Yatra
After breakfast, set out for the Rajgir Pahar Yatra and visit all five mountains. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Rajgir – Kundalpur (15 km) – Nalanda (3 km) – Pawapuri (20 km) – Rajgir
After breakfast, travel to Kundalpur to visit Surya Mandir and Jain Mandir. Then, visit the Nalanda Museum and University. Later, proceed to Pawapuri to see Jal Mandir, Gaon Mandir, and Samosharan Mandir. Overnight stay in Rajgir
Day 8: Rajgir – Patna – Onward Journey
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Patna. Drop off at Patna station or airport for your onward journey
