Gangtok Pelling and Darjeeling – 8 Days

Arrive at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, where our designated driver will receive you and escort you to Gangtok by road. The journey spans approximately 4 to 5 hours through picturesque hills and valleys. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind. In the evening, guests may visit the local market at MG Road. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Following breakfast, proceed to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet), located roughly 40 km from Gangtok, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Guests have the opportunity to partake in a yak ride. Subsequently, visit the renowned Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, commemorating an esteemed Indian army soldier. Return to Gangtok in the evening for overnight accommodation.

Commence the day with a visit to Tashi Viewpoint, offering panoramic vistas of Kanchenjunga on clear days. Continue to Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok, two tranquil temples. The itinerary also includes the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology for insights into Tibetan culture, as well as stops at the Handicrafts Center and Enchey Monastery. Overnight in Gangtok.

After breakfast, check out and depart for Pelling. Enjoy scenic views of hills, waterfalls, and forests en route, with opportunities for brief photo stops at selected viewpoints. Arrive in Pelling by the afternoon and check in to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the serene hill station. Overnight in Pelling.

Following breakfast, visit Pemayangtse Monastery, one of Sikkim's oldest monastic institutions. Proceed to Rabdentse Ruins, noted for their historical significance and impressive views. The tour continues to the Sky Walk and Chenrezig Statue, followed by visits to Rimbi Waterfall and Kanchenjunga Waterfall. Return to the hotel in the evening for relaxation.

Check out after breakfast and commence the drive to Darjeeling. The route traverses verdant tea gardens and winding mountain roads. Upon arrival in Darjeeling in the afternoon, check in to your hotel. Guests may explore Mall Road during the evening. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Begin early with a visit to Tiger Hill at 4 AM to witness the sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. On the return journey, stop at Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Post-breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, and Tenzing Rock. Enjoy a heritage ride on the Toy Train and experience a tea garden visit, sampling freshly brewed tea. Overnight in Darjeeling.

After breakfast, complete the check-out formalities. Our driver will transfer you to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey.
