Overview
This itinerary covers a guided tour through Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Udaipur. Highlights include Delhi’s key monuments, the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, historic Fatehpur Sikri, Jaipur’s forts and bustling bazaars, and Udaipur’s palaces, gardens, and lakes. The trip features comfortable hotel stays, local cuisine, city tours, scenic drives, and opportunities for shopping, before returning to Delhi for onward travel.
Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Arrival at Delhi airport / station. Pickup and transfer to hotel. Check-in at hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
Arrive in Delhi. A tour guide or driver meets you at the airport or railway station and transfers you to your hotel for check-in. After a rest, begin a city tour of Delhi, including India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan, followed by visits to Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, and Lotus Temple. Walk through Connaught Place for snacks and shopping. If time permits, visit Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Dinner is served at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel for the night.
Day 3: Delhi to Agra (Approx. 4 Hours Drive)
After breakfast, drive to Agra. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Optionally, visit Mehtab Bagh for a view of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River. In the evening, visit a local market with marble art and sweets.
Day 4: Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri (Approx. 5 Hours)
Depart Agra after breakfast, driving toward Jaipur. En route, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar, to see Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and Jodha Bai's palace. Continue to Jaipur, arrive by evening, check into the hotel, and either rest or visit a nearby market. Local dishes such as dal baati churma or gatte ki sabzi are available.
Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing
Spend the day touring Jaipur, starting at Amber Fort, accessible by jeep or elephant ride. Additional sites include Jal Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal. The day also includes time to walk through Jaipur’s bazaars for jewelry, textiles, and handicrafts.
Day 6: Jaipur to Udaipur (Approx. 6-7 Hours Drive)
Following breakfast, travel to Udaipur by road, passing through villages and hills. Arrive in Udaipur in the evening, check in to the hotel, and spend the evening near Lake Pichola, with options for a boat ride or visiting Ambrai Ghat. Traditional Rajasthani dinner may be served at a rooftop restaurant.
Day 7: Udaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Udaipur’s City Palace and museum, Jagdish Temple, and Saheliyon Ki Bari garden. In the evening, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola with an optional stop at Jag Mandir or view of the Lake Palace. There are opportunities to shop for miniature paintings and silver jewelry.
Day 8: Udaipur to Delhi (By Flight)
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Transfer to Udaipur airport for your journey to Delhi, Arrival at Delhi, Pickup and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay
Day 9: Delhi – Onwards
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and transfer to Delhi airport / station for onward journey
