Overview
This 15-day tour covers a spiritual journey through the Himalayas, focusing on the sacred Char Dham pilgrimage. Starting in Delhi, it progresses to Haridwar and Rishikesh for Ganga Aarti and temple visits. The journey then ascends to Barkot, initiating the Yamnotri trek. Following this, Uttarkashi and Gangotri are explored, with treks and temple visits. The tour continues to Guptkashi and Kedarnath, featuring a challenging trek to the Kedarnath Jyotirlinga. Badrinath is then visited, including the temple and surrounding sites. The journey concludes with returns to Srinagar Garhwal, Haridwar, and finally Delhi, offering a blend of spiritual experiences and Himalayan landscapes.
Tour Plan
Day 1: Delhi
Arrive at Delhi International airport in the morning. Upon arrival, clear Immigration, collect your luggage and follow sign for exit. Pickup and private transfer you to hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Delhi – Haridwar (215 KM/ 6 HRS appx.)
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and proceed for Haridwar. Evening Ganga Aarti at Har – ki – Pauri. Overnight Stay.
Day 3: Haridwar – Rishikesh (26 KM / 01Hrs appx.)
After breakfast, Check-out from hotel an proceed to Rishikesh. Visit Mansa Devi. Later, if time permitted, Visit religious sites of Geeta Bhawan, Laxman Jhoola & Ram Jhoola. Overnight stay.
Day 4: Rishikesh – Barkot (190 KM / 10 Hrs appx.)
This morning leave for Barkot. Transfer to hotel and relax for the rest of the day to save energy for Pad Yatra of Yamnotri. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 5: Barkot – Yamnotri (3293m) – Barkot (40 KM / 03 Hrs appx. Per way)
After breakfast, we depart to Phoolchatti. Here we will begin our first Pahad Yatra of Yamnotri. Able to hire a Doli for your journey (cost not Included), after the Darshan at Yamnotri, return to our hotel. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 6: Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 KM / 05 Hrs appx.)
This morning we depart for Uttarkashi. After lunch, continue our journey to Uttarkashi. Check-in at hotel. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 7: Uttarkashi – Gangotri (3048 mts) – Uttarkashi (100 KM / 05 Hrs appx. Per side)
Today travel to Gangotri, our second Pahad Yatra. Participation in Prayers and Darshan at Ganga Temple and Holy River Ganga. Later enjoy lunch and return to our hotel at Uttarkashi. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 8: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (240 KM / 10 Hrs appx.)
Early today proceed to Guptkashi. On the way have a look at magnificent view of Tihri Dam & Alknanda – Mandakini sangam at Rudraprayag. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.
Day 9: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (3584 mts)
Today morning we depart to Kedarnath. Amidst the dramatic mountainscapes of the majestic Kedarnath Range stands one of the twelve “Jyotirlingas” of Kedar ji or Lord Shiva. Overnight in Kedarnath. The accommodation is very basic at Kedarnath.
(Note: Helicopter / Pony / Doli will be dependent on weather and operation conditions)
Day 10: Kedarnath Darshan - Rudraprayag: (73 KM / 04 Hrs appx.)
Today we do Kedarnath Darshan and start descending. Later drive towards Rudraprayag.
Day 11: Rudrprayag – Badrinath (3133 m) (157 KM / 08 Hrs appx.)
Early morning proceed on an almost full day drive to Shri Badrinath dham. Visit Shri Badrivishal Temple. Check-in at hotel. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 12: Badrinath – Srinagar Garhwal (200 KM / 08 Hrs appx.)
After breakfast, check-out and Proceed to Srinagar Garhwal. Arrival in the evening. Overnight stay.
Day 13: Srinagar Garhwal – Haridwar (140 KM / 06 Hrs appx.)
After breakfast proceed to Haridwar. Arrival, check-in at hotel. Overnight Stay.
Day 14: Haridwar – Delhi (215 KM / 08 Hrs appx.)
After breakfast depart for Delhi. Evening free for shopping. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 15: Delhi – Onwards
After breakfast Check-out Hotel transfer to Delhi Airport for onward flight.
