Overview
This 6-day tour focuses on the Amarnath Yatra in Kashmir. It begins with arrival in Srinagar and proceeds to Sonmarg. Day three involves a pilgrimage to the Amarnath Cave, accessible by helicopter or pony, to view the ice Shivlingam. The return journey leads back to Panchtarni or Sonmarg. Day four features Srinagar sightseeing, including Mughal gardens and Dal Lake. Day five offers a day trip to Gulmarg, with an optional gondola ride.
Tour Plan
Day 1: Srinagar Arrival (by Flight)
Arrival at Srinagar airport, pick up and transfer to hotel. check in to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Srinagar – Sonmarg (80 KM 03 HRS apprx.)
After breakfast, depart to Sonmarg. Overnight Stay.
Day 3: Sonmarg / Baltal – Holy Amarnath Cave (3953 mts) – Baltal – Panchtarni / Sonmarg
Leave early to take Helicopter / Pony to Panchtarni and Pony / Doli from Panchtarni to Holy Amarnath cave where you can see ice shivlingam. This holy cave is visited by thousands of Hindu Pilgrims. After darshan Return back to Panchtarni / Sonmarg. Overnight stay at Panchtarni / Sonmarg.
(Note: Helicopter dependent on weather and operation conditions. Due to any traffic or weather condition, we may need to stay back at Panchttarni on return. Panchtarni accommodation will be sharing Tents and Meals by Local vendors.)
Day 4: Panchtarni / Sonmarg - Srinagar Sightseeing (83 KM / 03Hrs appx.)
Early morning proceed to Srinagar. Visit Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Chasmesahi, Shankaracharya temple. After noon free time provided for shopping / leisure activities. You can enjoy Shikara Ride in Dal Lake. Overnight in hotel.
(Note: If we stay at Panchtarni, we will depart earliest possible to Sonmarg and then by vehicle to Srinagar. In this case we may not be able to do Srinagar sightseeing or shorten it. No compensation or refund applicable in this case)
Day 5: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar (52 KM / 02 Hrs appx. Per side)
Full day tour of Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. Enjoy the splendour of nature and Snowy Mountain. One can have gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg. In the evening return to Srinagar. Overnight stay.
Day 6: Srinagar – Onwards:
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
