Overview
This 15-day tour explores India’s diverse landscapes and cultures. It begins in Delhi with historical sightseeing, then moves to Kashmir’s serene lakes and valleys, including Srinagar, Gulmarg, and Pahalgam. The journey continues to Kargil, a site of historical significance, before venturing into Ladakh. Highlights include Leh’s monasteries, the stunning Pangong Lake, and the Nubra Valley via the world’s highest motorable pass. The tour concludes with a flight from Leh back to Delhi. It offers a blend of cultural immersion, scenic beauty, and adventurous travel.
Tour Itinerary
DAY 1: Arrival Delhi:
Arrival at Delhi airport. Pickup and private transfer to hotel. Check-in at hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 2: Delhi Sightseeing:
After breakfast, proceed for Panoramic guided tour of Delhi’s famous place like Red Fort, India Gate, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Raj Ghat, Rashtrapati Bhavan. Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay.
DAY 3: Delhi – Srinagar (By Flight), Srinagar Sightseeing:
After breakfast, check-out from hotel. Private transfer to Delhi airport for flight to Srinagar. Arrival at Srinagar. Depart for Half day Srinagar sightseeing- visit Mughal Garden, Nishat Bagh (the Garden of Spring) as well as Shalimar Bagh. Later transfer to hotel. Check-in at hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar:
After breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg. It means “Meadow of flowers.” In winter, Gulmarg is a magnificent experience, fully covered in a white blanket of Snow which turns it into a skiers paradise.
Free time for leisure activities. Optional Gondola Ride at Gulmarg.
Later afternoon, proceed back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar:
After breakfast, proceed to Sonamarg – Known as the ‘Meadow of Gold’, Sonmarg is set amidst a valley of flowers and lakes. The word “Son” literally means “Gold” in Hindi, and this golden beauty covered with white snow is most attractive in the spring. The exotic flora of the region is nurtured by the Sindh river.
In Sonmarg, one can take a pony ride (at own cost) to Thajwas Glacier where snow remains round the year.
Later afternoon, proceed back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 6: Srinagar – Wular Lake – Srinagar:
After breakfast have an excursion of Wular Lake – Wular Lake, covering an area of about 125 sq km, is rated amongst the largest fresh water lakes in Asia. The natural beauty of this lake, being located amidst snow clad hills, is undoubtedly beyond description. According to Hindu mythology, the lake is believed to be the remnants of the Satisar Lake, which used to flow in the region in pre-historic times. This fresh water lake is a natural flood reservoir for Jhelum River, which drains off the excess water.
Wular Lake is a major habitat for the exotic avian life of the region. While visiting the Wular Lake, one can watch the rich fish of the region. This lake alone provides about 60 per cent of the fish yield of the Kashmir region.
Enjoy Boat ride at Wular Lake.
Later proceed back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 7: Srinagar – Pahalgam:
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and proceed to Pahalgam – popular as the valley of shepherds, is also the base camp for the pilgrims to the holy Amarnath cave. The place attracts tourists to explore its scenic beauty and the picturesque Liddar valley located in the high Himalayas.
Optional Visit- Aru Valley, Betab Valley & Chandanwari by local Taxi.
Check-in at hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 8: Pahalgam – Srinagar
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and proceed to Srinagar.
En-route visit Avantipura Temple Ruins.
Enjoy Shikara Ride at Dal Lake.
Later proceed to Houseboat.
Dinner and Overnight in Houseboat.
Day 9: Srinagar – KARGIL (Approx. 06 hours journey)
After breakfast, proceed towards Kargil. Enroute Zojila Pass, Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabited Place in the world), Kargil war famous peaks and Kargil war Memorial. Reach Kargil by evening. Check in hotel. Overnight stay at Kargil.
Please Note: To cross Zojila Pass, Military declares Check Post time, accordingly you have to leave from Sonmarg.
Day 10: KARGIL – LEH (Approx. 9 hours journey)
After breakfast, proceed towards Leh enroute Mulbek (1st Century Giant Living Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain), later visit Lamayuru Monastery & enjoy magnificent view of “Moon land – An undulating series of mountains that resemble the surface of the moon.”, Magnetic Hill, Confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers and Patharsaheb Gurudwara. Evening arrive Leh and Check in hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.
DAY 11: Leh Sightseeing:
After breakfast, we proceed for Indus Valley Monastery Starting with Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism, Thiksey Monastery an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village, Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh, 3 Idiots Rancho School & Sindhu Ghat. After visiting above places, we drive back to Leh. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 12: Leh – Pangong Lake – Leh:
After early breakfast, proceed for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. The long easy ascent takes you to Changla pass through its winding roads passing through Sakti Village. Stop at the Changla Pass for a quick photograph session and drive down to the village of Tangtse, where you can relax for a cup of tea. Leaving Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few small villages of Changthang and finally you can have a sudden view of the Pangong Lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 133 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the “INDO CHINA BORDER”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. After the success of 3 Idiots, this beautiful natural location has attracted more tourists from all over the world. After spending some time at Pangong We drive back to Leh in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 13: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La:
After breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level.
Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder area. Dinner and Overnight stay.
DAY 14: Nubra Valley – Leh:
After breakfast, In the morning drive to Diskit (Headquarters of Nubra) and visit Diskit Monastery. Later, drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon.
Rest of the day, free to explore the markets.
Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 15: Leh – Delhi (by Flight):
After breakfast, check-out from hotel. Pickup and private transfer to Leh airport for flight to Delhi. Arrival at Delhi airport. Proceed to your onward destination.
